However, shortly after scrolling down the ‘Aura’ tab, you will be presented with what feels like a never-ending list of categories.
While this is not a major issue and is possibly a good problem to have.
To many options can be confusing, leaving users a little lost as to what to choose, and even deterring them from scrolling too far down.
To remedy this, a shortlist of categories should be offered on the main tab, while the addition of a categories tab into the interface would help to spread out the app.
This would allow users to browse a select few categories in the main tab, while viewing the bulk of the library, helping declutter and avoid user confusion and indecision.
The Aura app has some excellent motivational functions that are hidden in the ‘Me’ tab.
Functions such as badges, mood trends and gratitude journal are great functions, that should be brought to the front of the app.
Having these options tucked away doesn’t affect the overall experience of the app. But they are great functions and they should be put on display as they can be great for added motivation.
