Why Should I Choose Plus Fitness?

What Limitations does Plus Fitness Have?

✗ Plus Fitness are quite limited in space – they’re not the biggest facility and have the basics, rather than anything fancy. 

✗ The sign up fee is between $78 – $128, which is a little pricey, especially if you’re only signing up for a short period of time.

Plus Fitness are very limited in their group fitness offerings. Occasionally, a club my offer very basic classes, but they aren’t a patch on other gym chains’ offerings.

Plus have been serving the Australian community for over 23 years. They are low-cost, offer on-demand online classes, have no lock-in contracts available and give you the basics you need to really kick-start your fitness journey.

Is Plus Fitness Open 24 Hours?

Plus Fitness is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for working out. You use a swipe key to access the club during non-staffed hours which you recieve when signing up.

If you’re hoping to sign up or ask any specific questions, you’ll need to visit Plus Fitness during their staffed hours and these times may vary from club to club and throughout the week.

A membership at Plus Fitness will cost you between $13.95 and $16.95 per week on a fortnightly payment scheme, with prices depending on location and your situation.

Contracts are not lock-in and you can also suspend your membership for up to 3 years if you like to travel or become injured or sick.

There are ways to avoid paying this fee, such as signing up for longer periods of time or purchasing a membership during a promotional period.

Plus Fitness Equipment & Facilities

Each Plus Fitness club has a cardio area with ellipticals, rowing machines, bikes and treadmills, a machine area including leg press, assisted chin-ups, etc., a free weight area, as well as one to two squat racks, which also serve as a bench press.

There is also an independent training area separate from the rest of the gym floor that you can use to complete workouts in a more private manner.

Plus Fitness also have your typical amenities including open lockers, showers/toilets, water taps and a reception area.

Does Plus Fitness have Classes?

Plus Fitness does not offer traditional, instructor-led group fitness classes. However, they do have a designated independent training space separate from the rest of the gym floor that you can use to complete their online ‘classes on demand’, which include spin, yoga, boxing and many more.

Plus Fitness also offer personal and small group training at an extra cost.

Can I Use my Plus Fitness Membership Anywhere?

A Plus Fitness membership will give you full access to every one of their 180 facilities across Australia and New Zealand.

How Do I Cancel My Plus Fitness Membership?

In order to cancel your Plus Fitness membership, you’ll need to visit one of their clubs during staffed hours and complete a ‘Plus Fitness Cancellation Form’.

From here, you will be charged one fortnightly cycle (one payment), and the contract will be terminated.
