All headings and tabs are clear and informative, which makes for a smooth transition into the platform.
The ‘Search’ tab allows you to view and search the Whisk app’s database for existing meals.
This is the perfect example of how search tabs should appear inside meal planning apps.
When you open the tab, you are immediately presented with a range of recipes to choose from and when you go to search you are presented with a list of suggested searches.
This not only provides users with guidance but decreases the empty feeling than is often a result of blank search tabs.

The Whisky team’s decision to build the app around a community is an excellent choice.

This way you can immediately view content on your ‘Activity’ feed, share recipes and have conversations with other members.
Community is a vital part of any business or service.
And what Whisk has done here not only shows they care by giving new users a warm welcome, they give show they care about your success with the platform, by presenting helpful suggestions and linking you with like-minded users.
Having the ability to build your grocery list and do your shopping all in one place is something that we have seen a lot of in recent times, and it still puts a smile on our faces when we see it in apps.
The grocery shopping list and automatic checkout is a gamechanger and one of Whisk’s main attractions.
The ability to simply choose what you want to eat for the day or week and then add it to your shopping list and checkout is probably one of the greatest functions in the app market.
Online grocery shopping can be tedious and frustrating. Whisk takes this off our hands and does all the work for you. Streamlining the meal planning and prepping process, which is sure to have many fans.
| Whisk App Negatives
No Video Content
Whisk does so many things well, it is really hard to pinpoint a spot of weakness. But if were have to choose it would be the lack of video tutorials and video content within the current app.
While this function is currently linked to Tik Tok, it would be nice to see a basic function within the app for users who aren’t going to use the social media platform.
This is a minor complaint, which we are sure will be built on as the Whisk teams up with social media powerhouse.
